Sharing a bit of beauty this dark rainy day, think we need it... discovered this beautiful feather fluttering in the wind on one of the branches of my ancient wild cherry tree whilst standing under it doing my eye meditations 12 days ago. . . Getting my Christmas decorations out always helps me feel Christmassy... some are vintage ones I’ve come across or hand me downs, others I’ve collected over the years, will share a few more of them nearer Christmas. Do you collect Christmas decorations too? . . Think the wooden Santa’s are vintage, got them from a local church Fair around 15 years ago - see another one in today’s post over @elfinalchemy - and the hand painted ceramic angel bell decoration (oops she’s lost the tip of her wing!) was a Christmas gift swop with an American ceramic painter 7 years ago. . . Drove past the atmospheric ruins of Sawley Abbey on my way to Grindleton Christmas Fair last Saturday and it was even better on my way home... was treated to this gorgeous sky and sunset for my first walk around the abbey ruins. . .
